At the front of the house, the curved concrete drive connects to the angled two car garage. Wayne Dalton Carriage House Garage Doors add to the home's subtle Colonial style with neat dormers and crisp gables. The walkway is exposed aggregate concrete. The covered porch has 10 inch tapered round columns on an aggregate porch surface with a soldier course brick edge and brick step.

There is a 12' X 24' veranda on the main level over a 12' x 24' patio on the lower level with a sidewalk to a 10' X 18' brick walled patio on the side of the house.From this patio there are ground-level French doors that open into the unfinished area suitable for drive-in golf cart storage.

The spacious entry serves a formal dining room on the left with two tall and narrow windows on the front wall overlooking the front porch. The staircase makes up part of the dining back wall with 5 feet of the staircase exposed to the formal dining side and fully exposed on the other. The far left wall has double 16 inch doors which open to the kitchen. This room could also be a sitting area or music room.

Straight ahead from the home's front entrance is the main level living room. It is open and rises two stories with the formal front door entry. To the left is a large informal dining area with the ceiling back down to 9'. The living room has three sliding windows that look out over the veranda to the unbeatable views. The views from these rear windows include a most exciting and rare combination of views looking down on the fifth hole lake, fairway and green. Beyond are the rolling hills of the valley, the tall Massanutten Peak and the not-too-distant Blue Ridge mountains. Short of a cliff over the ocean, this view is unsurpassed.

The informal dining area has a cantilevered bay with large windows and access to the 12' x 24' veranda. As mentioned above, the formal dining room is inside the main entrance to the left.

The east side of the kitchen is open to the informal dining area. The cherry cabinets with granite tops were custom designed and made locally. The upper cabinets and end cabinets have old glass in the doors with divided panes.

The kitchen adjoins the informal dining area, sharing the wonderful outdoor spectacle.

The main level master suite runs along the entire side of the house from front to back.

The privacy of the master suite is obvious and relaxation is inevitable. The bedroom is a large room with bay windows also looking east over the valley to the Blue Ridge mountains, Massanutten peak and the golf course.

Two pedestal sinks in the master suite are across from the air tub and a generous shower is next to the air tub. There is plenty of room between the large lavatories for a small dresser or special storage piece.

The upper level master bedroom has solid double doors. This room is 24' long and 11' wide at the entrance. The house rear wall has two triple windows each 9' wide in this suite.

The views are wonderful from anywhere in the upper level master suite, looking east over the valley to the Blue Ridge mountains, Massanutten peak and the golf course.

Under the stairway to the upper level, the open staircase enters the large lower level family room / living room with a vented gas fireplace. Two glass doors open to a covered patio with the gorgeous east views.

To the right side of this room is a new room (just completed) with bay windows. It is accessed from the family room by 15 pane French doors. When these doors opened the size of the family room nearly doubles. We designed this room to accommodate multiple uses. There is plumbing behind the right side wall waiting for a wet bar or kitchen. With a closet addition it could be a bedroom. Next to this room is a full spacious bath. The bath door is 36" to allow ample space for handicap access if needed. It has an accessible shower, water closet and pedestal sink. It is a generous, nicely sized tiled bath with a great look.

Also on the lower level is a nice size room suitable for a home theater, hobbies, library, or just for sleeping. It has two generous closets. A door from this room accesses the remainder of the lower level.
